It's been a crazy summer for the band. Both Joe and Chris welcomed baby boys into the world! After a short break getting to know our spawn, we're getting back to business and looking forward to a busy fall including two great shows in JP and VT.
We're very excited to announce that we'll be joining the lineup at the second annual JP Music Festival on Saturday Sept, 8. Spread the word! Check the shows page for more details.

After a relatively quiet end to 2011, we're playing out more now than we have in a while and it feels great! Catch us Mar 16th at Copperfield's Bar in Boston. Spread the word! Check the shows page for more details.

Feb 10th, we'll be rocking the Boston House of Blues' Foundation Room once again with 2 sets of high-octane jams. More 2012 bookings to be announced soon. Check the shows page for more details.

Returning to the scene of our CD Release party last year, we'll be laying down 2+ hours of music at the Foundation Room Thurs Oct 20 after STS9 plays the HOB main stage. Check the shows page for more details.

Day 8: "Stop the War" - This is a song I wrote with my dear friend Chris Smith in 2002. Chris was visiting me when I lived in Somerville and we wanted to write a protest song. Maybe this is it.

Day 6: "Cheeseburger China Cat" - A song written by our friends, The Don Loans Project. I believe this song is inspired by Bernie Madoff, but also gives a nod to a few other questionable characters.
Day 7: "Far Enough" - My first car had a busted stereo, and a busted driver’s side door. The inside sometimes smelled of cigarettes and chocolate raspberry coffee. Most of the time it didn’t matter where it would take us.

Day 5: "Aston" - My hometown.

Day 4: "Can't Tell" - There is a really strange feeling walking into a diner late at night and knowing something no one else knows. It’s even stranger when you are forced to interact with these people.

Day 3: "When the Octagon Burned Down" - When I was a kid there was a wonderful farm I would go to with my parents, the centerpiece of the farm was an eight-sided barn. A few years after I moved away, it burned.

Day 2: "Colors" - I still remember the uneasy feeling of waking up extra early at someone else’s place in order to take the train into work. Standing on the platform, being rained on, and questioning what I was thinking and how this totally isn’t worth it.

Day 1 stream "Demon Dog": This song began as a challenge to myself to write about a seemingly random topic...like one particular scene in a movie. This scene immediately came to mind and needed to be documented in song form.
